I’m Jim Vasconcellos. I formed Boomerang Concepts (formerly Core Communication Concepts) in 1996 out of
a passion to help others in their career development. As a speaker and trainer for over 15 years, I've
presented seminars on management, leadership, customer service, computer software and business
communication skills. These engagements led me to presenting to thousands of people across the
United States, Canada and Europe.
I’m frequently asked “how did you get involved in the speaking business?” To be clear, I didn't get 'involved'
in this business. I 'evolved' into this business. While working towards a degree in business, I had to
schedule the dreaded, grueling, torturous, mandatory Public Speaking 101! I emerged from that
experience a bit battered and bruised but certainly with a new outlook. The art of speaking was my path to
making positive changes in this world so I made my own change and completed a degree in Speech
Communications! Putting my degree to work, I spent eight years in the banking and data processing
industries. It eventually led to starting my business and a life of being on the road doing what I love to do -
speaking to make a difference.
Today, I'm continuing my quest to change business cultures, one mind at a time! It's been a journey for me
and I look forward to working with you on yours.
